"If just one new home
in ten earned the Energy Star, the change would
be equal to removing the pollution from 600,000
cars for one year."

Energy Star & EPD

Engineered Panel Designs is an Energy Star Partner. The Energy Star Program is a government-backed voluntary certification program, which measures the energy usage of a home. Tests are conducted to measure air leakage and airflow throughout the house through third party verification.

Our customers are living in SIP homes that are 43% to 57% more energy efficient than comparable stick-built homes. This reduction in energy usage results in direct savings in their utility costs. Because SIPs are an energy efficient building envelope, our customers have saved even more money by reducing the HVAC equipment and duct runs needed for their SIP home than if they had built with traditional construction methods.
